ArtWorks Academy believes performing provides opportunities for growth and development. Collaborating with peers to produce a play or musical teaches students the importance of teamwork, while building self-confidence. Senior Production Company productions are open to students with varying levels of experience in 8th-12th grade.
Each semester this class will rehearse and perform a full-length musical. Students will be instructed in every aspect of the production process. Auditions will be held during the second week of class. All enrolled students will be cast in the production. Each student will have their moment to shine!
Students will perform in Disney’s The Little Mermaid (January 22-24, 2027). In the spring semester students will perform in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, (June 18-20, 2027).
Classes for The Little Mermaid begin August 31, 2026.
Students enrolled in Senior Production Company for Disney’s The Little Mermaid will automatically stay enrolled for the spring musical (unless you let us know otherwise). New students wishing to enroll for the spring semester to be in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be able to get on a wait list. After Disney’s The Little Mermaid is over, we will notify students on the wait list if there is room in the class. Classes for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat begin the week of February 1, 2027.
Dance is an integral part of musical theatre, and ArtWorks Academy offers 72 dance classes to support every performer’s growth. We know your time is valuable, so we schedule dance classes before Senior Production Company to make it convenient for most students to participate. If you’re tired of driving all over town to fit in all of your child’s activities, we invite you to explore everything we offer in one place. Visit our School of Dance page to view our full dance schedule. Below are lists of classes that pair conveniently with SPC.
Tuition is $138 per month. Students taking more than one class (i.e. Senior Production Company and a dance class) will receive a discounted rate on additional classes.
In addition to the $138.00 monthly tuition, there is also a $125.00 Production Fee due each semester, as well as an annual $40 Enrollment Fee. The Production Fee helps cover the cost of theater rental, show royalties, costumes, sets, props, etc.
Some Saturday rehearsals will be required. In order to use class time as efficiently as possible, we try not to block scenes or teach songs with small groups of students during the regular class time. We do this on Saturdays, so the class time can be used for songs and scenes involving the majority of the cast. We notify all students and parents of the potential Saturday rehearsals at the beginning of each semester. There are generally one to two per month, but not all students will be called. We give you a chance to let us know in advance of any conflicts you have on the scheduled Saturday rehearsals.
Students should wear clothes which allow for ease of movement to class. Girls need tan character shoes and boys can wear black jazz shoes or dress shoes (depending upon the show).
Performances for Disney’s The Little Mermaid will be January 22-24, 2027 at the Main Theatre at Randall University in Moore, which is located at 3701 S. I-35 Service Rd. Performances for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (June 18-20, 2027) will also be at the same location.
Tickets will be $15-$18 each. They will go on sale two weeks before the show. Parents will receive an email with instructions on how to purchase tickets.

“ArtWorks Academy helped me discover my passion for Musical Theatre. The owners, Katie and Michael, became my biggest role models, and I made life long friends. This theatre is the reason I was able to get into Oklahoma City University’s School of Music. If you’re looking for a foundation for your future success, go to ArtWorks Academy!” -Mackenzie M.
