Welcome to ArtWorks Academy!  We are so glad you are interested in putting your child in performing arts classes!  We want to offer your family the chance to explore all that AWA offers, without any obligation! 

ArtWorks Academy provides fun, challenging, high-quality classes to students of every ability and level of interest. Our hope is that each of our students will walk away with:

  • a stronger sense of SELF-WORTH
  • more CONFIDENCE
  • the ability to WORK WELL WITH OTHERS
  • a LOVE of the arts
  • a wildly CREATIVE SPIRIT 

Discovery Days!

 

We are very excited to host two Discovery Days in August, specifically for students in 6th grade and under (Tuesday daytime Discovery Day goes through 8th). Students as young as one can join us for this event! Discovery Days include the following:

  • Free trial classes in dance and musical theatre
  • Bounce house
  • Face painting
  • A fun dress up area with a stage

BONUS: After your child comes to the trial class, if you enroll for a fall class before you leave, your child will receive a FREE pair of ballet shoes or ArtWorks Academy t-shirt, while supplies last.

Who can attend?

Trial classes are open to any children one year old through 6th grade (Saturday, August 17) or through 13 (Tuesday, August 20)

Where are the Discovery Days held?

The Discover Days are held at ArtWorks Academy in Norman. We are right next to HeyDay. Our address is:

We have two suites in our building. When you arrive, drive past Alpha Gymnastics to the north side of the building. All trial classes will be held in our dance studios on the north side. Once your child has attended trials, they can go to our theatre space on the east side of the building for the bounce house, face painting, and more fun!

Is there a cost?

This event is completely free!

My child can get free ballet shoes?

Yes! Once your child attends the free trial class and you see how much they love it, enroll them before leaving and your child will receive a free pair of ballet shoes! If they are enrolling in a class that does not require ballet shoes, they can choose an ArtWorks Academy shirt, while supplies last. Enrollment fee and September tuition is due upon enrollment. After enrolling, we will fit your child for ballet shoes and order them. We will let you know when they are ready to pick up at the studio. 

How do we sign up?

Look at the schedules below for August 17 and 20. Once you decide which day you are attending, please click on the button below the schedule. You will fill out the Google form to reserve your child’s spot. If the trial class you selected is full, we will contact you. If you are bringing more than one child, please fill out a separate form for each.
