Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in classes at ArtWorks Academy. We know your time and money are valuable. It is our desire to clearly communicate our policies and fees, so you are not faced with any surprises. Please take the time to read the general policies, as well as the policies specific to your child’s class type (i.e. theatre, dance, etc.).
Tuition is based on the total number of hours each student is enrolled in per week. Tuition is charged monthly, September-May. Students in Beginning Musical Theatre, Junior Production Company and Senior Production Company will also pay tuition in June for those classes. A 5% discount will be granted if tuition is paid in full at the beginning of each semester. Tuition is due the first week of the month and is considered late if not received by the 7th of the month. A $25 late fee will be applied for late tuition. Families with two or more children enrolled receive 10% off of each student’s tuition. Tuition payments and enrollment fees are non-refundable.
The tuition rates below do not include private lessons. Tuition for summer is different and located under each summer class description.

Please Note: If a student misses a private lesson, the teacher will make up ONE lesson per year. If the teacher misses a lesson due to illness, vacation, etc., that lesson will always be made up. Any student absences beyond one absence will not be made up. You cannot skip a month of lessons and not pay. Your payment is holding your child’s spot. We have a waiting list for lessons and every lesson, whether or not your child is present, must be paid for.
Each student enrolling in classes at ArtWorks Academy will be charged an annual $35.00 Enrollment Fee. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of enrollment. Families enrolling two or more students will pay a $50.00 annual enrollment fee.
To truly benefit from visual and performing arts instruction attendance is essential. Roll is taken each class period, so please call the office when absences are necessary. In case of inclement weather, please watch local television stations, check the website, or call the studio (397-1824) for ArtWorks Academy closings. No deductions or refunds will be given for student absences. Missed classes due to illness or other circumstances, however, may be made up in a comparable class approved by the instructor.
All class changes must be handled through the office and approved by the instructor. If you decide to withdraw completely from ArtWorks Academy, a withdrawal form must be completed and filed with the office 10 days before the first of the month. If you fail to fill out a withdrawal form, your account will continue to accrue charges for tuition and fees until the end of the session. You are liable for all tuition and fees.
If you are set up on autopay, your bank account/credit card will be charged until you have completed a withdrawal form. Again, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Please arrive five minutes before your class begins. Be ready to dance/rehearse when the teacher calls you to class (clothes changed, shoes on, etc). Please do not arrive any earlier than ten minutes prior to your class time.
Come prepared; bring all shoes, notebooks, scripts, and pencils that you will need for the class.
If you leave things in the lobby during class, please keep them in a bag and place them against the wall.
If you are more than 10 minutes late to a dance class and have missed the warm-up, you may not be allowed to dance. You will, however, be required to watch the class. This is for the dancer’s safety. Injuries are more likely to happen when a dancer is not properly warmed up.
Please pick up all of your trash at the end of class.
If students are waiting on a ride they MUST remain in the lobby area, not outside. It is important that we stick to our schedule by starting classes on time. We ask that you help us to achieve this by picking up your children in a timely manner. This will allow us to begin subsequent classes on time rather than supervising students who are waiting on rides. All students should be picked up no later than five minutes after their class ends. There will be a $5.00 fee charged to your account for every 15 minutes you are late picking up your child.
Parents and siblings are asked to wait in our lobby. We find students do much better with minimal distraction and without family members watching them rehearse. You are welcome to bring your laptop and take advantage of the wireless internet connection at our facility. However, you do not need to feel obligated to stay during your child’s class. Please feel free to leave and run errands or have some nice quiet time to yourself!
