In our Acting Explorers classes, students in 1st-4th grade learn the importance of using their body, voice, and imagination, while working on a one act play.
During the fall semester, students work on The Quest for Pixie Dust. They will perform this in an informal performance at the end of the semester, likely during their last class. More details will be sent out on the performance time/date, but it will be the week of December 14.
During the spring semester, students work on The Fairy Tale Network. This will be a fully staged, ticketed production. Performances will be May 21-23, 2027.
All students enrolled in the class will be cast in the production. After auditions and casting have concluded, all students will begin to gain the powerful hands-on experience of producing a play. Rehearsals will be held during their normal class time, with the possibility of a few extra rehearsals being called the weeks leading up to the performances.
