Regards to Broadway

This camp incorporates three performance elements: singing, dancing and acting.  Students in K-8th grade will learn the fundamentals of musical theatre technique while working on the musical, Regards to Broadway. This camp is perfect for students with varying levels of experience!

About Regards to Broadway:

Laurel dreams of being a director on Broadway! She has convinced the kids in her neighborhood to help her produce her first show. Join Laurel and her friends as they prepare for the inaugural production in the, “Harris Family Amphitheater” (Laurel’s backyard). Regards to Broadway features a dozen hit show tunes from a century of blockbuster musicals!

  • Grades: K-8th
  • Dates: Monday-Friday, July 11-15, 2022 (Performances on July 15-16)
  • Times: 10:00 am-4:00 pm
  • Tuition: $250
  • Students need to bring a bottle of water, lunch, and a snack each day. (Please avoid peanuts and tree nuts.)

A $20.00 non-refundable deposit is due upon enrollment to hold your child’s spot. The session charge listed, once you enroll, is your remaining balance. The balance is due by the first day of the camp. Students enrolling in two or more camps or classes will receive a 10% discount off of each camp or class. Families will receive a sibling discount of 10% for each additional family member enrolled.

AUDITIONS

  • We will have auditions for roles on the first day of camp.
  • All students enrolled in the camp are cast in the show.
  • Students do NOT need to prepare anything in advance.

PERFORMANCE DATES

Performances for Regards to Broadway will be Friday-Saturday, July 15-16, 2022.  We will announce the performance times and number of performances after enrollment is finalized. 

VENUE

Rehearsals and performances for Regards to Broadway will be at the Loft Theatre at the ArtWorks Academy Main Campus in Norman, which is located at 3251 Market Place.

TICKETS

Tickets will be $8 each.  They will go on sale the week of the show. Parents will receive an email with instructions on how to purchase tickets.
