This summer, our 7th–12th graders and 2026 graduates will produce a one-act stage adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. This audition-only camp offers a thoughtful, skill-building experience for young actors.
Students will collaborate to rehearse and perform the play, focusing on character development, learning lines and movement, and creating authentic, engaging performances. Throughout the camp, actors will analyze the themes, language, and social context of the story, gaining a deeper understanding of its wit, relationships, and enduring relevance while strengthening their acting skills.
This camp provides young performers the opportunity to grow as actors while bringing one of literature’s most beloved stories to life on stage.
Performances will be at ArtWorks Academy’s Loft Theatre on June 27th-28th. Tickets will be $12 and will go on sale the week of the show. Please note that auditions are required, and not all who audition will be cast in the show. This is a straight play and NOT a musical.
A $25.00 deposit is due upon enrollment to hold your child’s spot. The session charge listed, once you enroll, is your remaining balance. The balance is due two weeks prior to the first day of the camp. Students enrolling in two or more camps or classes will receive a 10% discount off of each camp or class. We have to manually apply the discounts and will do so two weeks prior to each summer camp or class.
Enroll by May 15 and your child will receive a free ArtWorks Academy summer shirt!
All transfer and withdrawal requests MUST be submitted through a Change Request Form. Click here to view our summer policies.

“One of my personal favorites is how they cast each role to the students who deserve it. They don’t play favorites. It really gives each student a chance to grow!” -Rebecca B.
