Join us for these fun, educational music camps. Each camp is one-day, so you can enroll in the days that work with your schedule and your child’s interests. Students will be divided by age.
Rhythm and Percussion (Monday, July 1) – Students will learn about beats and rhythm in music. They will have a blast working with a variety of percussion instruments, including some household items, as they learn to play different rhythmic patterns.
Science of Sound and Instrument Making (Tuesday, July 2) – Through the use of hands on experiments, students will learn about the science of sound (vibrations and sound waves). They will make their own musical instruments to learn more about how sound can be manipulated.
Sound Effects and Music for Film (Wednesday, July 3) – Students will learn the importance of foley artists and music composers in film. They will learn how music and sound effects can change the mood of a scene. Students will create their own sound effects and music compositions with the help of instructors.
