Showstoppers: Singin’ in the Rainforest

Our Showstoppers camps incorporate three performance elements: singing, dancing and acting.  Students in K-6th grade will learn the fundamentals of musical theatre technique while working on the musical revue, Singin’ in the Rainforest. Join your favorite animals as we dive deep into the rainforest! This musical revue is full of fun, educational, and catchy tunes!  This camp is perfect for students with varying levels of experience. The camp will culminate in a short, informal performance on the last day!

This camp also allows campers the exciting opportunity to watch ArtWorks Academy students in Singin’ in the Rain on Saturday, June 17 at Randall University.  Before the 2:00 pm performance students enrolled in Showstoppers: Singin’ in the Rainforest will perform a song from their revue on stage as a pre-show. At the conclusion of Singin’ in the Rain, students will attend a cookie reception where they will meet characters from the show, get a backstage tour, and have their photo taken on the stage.

This cost includes one ticket for the camper to see Singin’ in the Rain on Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 pm, as well as a cookie reception, meet and greet with characters from the show, backstage tour and photo on the set. Additional tickets will be $10-$12 each.  

A $50.00 deposit is due upon enrollment to hold your child’s spot. The session charge listed, once you enroll, is your remaining balance. The balance is due two weeks prior to the first day of the camp. Students enrolling in two or more camps or classes will receive a 10% discount off of each camp or class. Families will receive a sibling discount of 10% for each additional family member enrolled. We have to manually apply the discounts and will do so two weeks prior to each summer camp or class.
