This class is perfect for students who love to sing and want to further their musical training! Singing in a Barbershop or a cappella group trains students to be better ensemble singers. Students will learn how to match, balance, and blend with each other, while learning intricate harmonies. Students will gain proficiency with a variety of vocal styles using appropriate tone quality, intonation, rhythms, diction, and musicianship.
Grades: 6th-12th (Mixed Glee Club) or 9th-12th (Advanced Men’s Glee Club)
Advanced Men’s Glee Club requires an audition and/or teacher approval. Mixed Glee Club is open to youth of any gender who want to participated.
