Acting Adventures: Mystery of the Stolen Treasure

In our Acting Adventures camps, students in K-6th grade learn the importance of using their body, voice, and imagination, while working on the play, Mystery of the Stolen Treasure. Students will audition for roles on the first day of camp. Everyone enrolled is cast. Each day, they will rehearse the show, learn acting techniques, play games that emphasize teamwork, and develop their acting skills through improvisational games and acting exercises. The camp will culminate in a short, informal performance for parents at the end of the week. This camp is perfect for students with varying levels of experience.

About Mystery of the Stolen Treasure:

The Rusty Barnacle has returned to port with a chest full of treasure. The king gave the crew strict orders, “Do not open the chest!” So where did the treasure go? With the help of his royal detective, the king intends to get to the bottom of this mystery and make the thief walk the plank!

  • Grades: K-6th
  • Dates: Monday-Friday, July 31-August 4, 2023
  • Times: 9:00 am-4:00 pm
  • Drop-off: 8:30-9:00 am; Pick-Up; 4:00-4:30 pm
  • Performance: Students will share what they have been working on at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 4 in an informal, studio performance.
  • Tuition: $250
  • Students need to bring a bottle of water, lunch, and two snacks each day. (Please avoid peanuts and tree nuts.)

A $50.00 deposit is due upon enrollment to hold your child’s spot. The session charge listed, once you enroll, is your remaining balance. The balance is due two weeks prior to the first day of the camp. Students enrolling in two or more camps or classes will receive a 10% discount off of each camp or class. Families will receive a sibling discount of 10% for each additional family member enrolled. We have to manually apply the discounts and will do so two weeks prior to each summer camp or class.
