Caitlyn Soloway

Dance Instructor and Musical Theatre Choreographer

“Although I teach my students, they are the ones that teach me how to be a student of life. There is beauty in growing, and I love to be inspired by my students, so that I can inspire them to become the best version of the artist they are.”

Biography

Caitlyn was born in Orlando, FL and started dancing when she was three years old. All she ever knew was movement and creativity, and she blossomed into an artist ever since. She continued dancing and performing at The Dancer’s Pointe until she decided to pursue dance at Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment, where she earned her B.S. in Dance Pedagogy. While she was here she performed for the American Spirit Dance Company, Student Choreography show, and worked behind the scenes on the Sound Team and backstage crew. During her time she discovered her true passion lies with allowing others the same opportunities, experiences, and joy that dance provided her. She chose the Dance Pedagogy track to teach children dance and give them passion, grace, and inspiration. Her hope is to provide all her students with a safe space where they feel free to express themselves and build strong friendships, learn life lessons, and share their light with others through dance. She is beyond excited to work at ArtWorks teaching dance and choreographing for her students!
