DESCRIPTION:Based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical that played for over 2\,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations\, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins Jr. is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect Broadway Junior musical! \nThe jack-of-all trades\, Bert\, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense\, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures\, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. SUMMARY:The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood
DESCRIPTION:About The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood: It sure is hard to be humble when you’re a swashbuckling\, egocentric super-hero. But our gallant guy-in-green tries his best as he swaggers through The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood\, a frantically funny\, Monty Pythonesque retelling of the classic. This time around\, the legendary legend\, in his never-ending quest to aid the needy\, encounters a lovely damsel-in-distress (oddly obsessed with skin conditions); an ever-scheming sheriff who would rather bowl a strike than hit a bull’s-eye; a gold-hoarding\, bad-guy monarch wannabe; and a good-natured “Town’s Guy” who manages to make his way into every scene\, whether he belongs there or not. Combine them with a band of spoon-wielding Merry Men whose collective IQs equal six\, and you’ve got an irreverent jaunt through Sherwood Forest you won’t soon forget! \nThis production features students in 7th-12th grade. \nPERFORMANCE DATES \nFriday\, May 2 at 7:00 pm \nSaturday\, May 3 at 3:00 am \nSaturday\, May 3 at at 7:00 pm \nSunday\, May 4 at at 3:00 pm \n  \nPurchase tickets here: https://cur8.com/22244/project/131528
