Introduction to Music:  4-6 year olds

Children are introduced to the basics of music in a fun, creative environment.  The selected curriculum exposes each student to the musical concepts of beat, rhythm, melody, form and timbre. 

Fall 2008:  Classics for Kids

This fun class brings classical music to life! Students will love learning the music of Strauss, Mozart, Brahms and other greats, as they sing, dance, act and play rhythm instruments.

Tuesday  4:15-4:45 pm

 Private Voice Lessons: 10 year olds and up

ArtWorks   Academy   offers   private   voice   lessons   for students 10 years old and up. Lessons are ½ hour per week. Students will receive instruction on vocal production and placement, breathing techniques, diction, tone and ear training. Students will study vocal anatomy, including the respiratory muscles, the larynx and throat structures, and how they affect singing. Instruction will also be given in music theory and performance skills. Age appropriate music will be assigned to each student.
